Every time they release a new Ace Combat game, 2 things usually happen:

_ I buy a new console

_ I'm amazed by the soundtrack

Namco sound team always delivers.

Waiting for fzero now...

I added some elements and mixed it a bit more.
Aiming for -16 -14 lufs range.

My entry for KVR one synth challenge 118, a fun contest where you must use only one synth.
Tal Noisemaker was used to create every sound including drums.

One synth challenge but more like one day challenge!
After my main computer died, had to use my crappy laptop to make this yesterday.
Kinda rushed, sorry but havent posted in a loooooooooooooooooooooong while, so i wanted to share a little something.

Once a year, a new member joins the "crew" XD

He surely will steal all the girls! ;)
Happy New Year!

(Thank you @Mich for your wonderful website)

...and by ultimate vintage drum i mean this overused snare sound that we hear since the creation of drum machines.

As an attempt to get back into music, I'm making a new short track for osc 104 challenge on KVR, due on 31th october. I'm late!

You can only use one synth (and multiple instances) to create everything. Effect must be freebies and not change the sound too much. This month, U-he zebralette was picked. Interesting challenge. Especially drums. Here is a short example https://instaud.io/1lmS I was going for a faitful recreation of pristine vintage anal-ogue 808 blabla bs...

Its almost only noise (or a sine), created by modulating a wavetable (the waveform change slightly) with enveloppe and feedback and basic filters. Add effect and velocities to taste and voila. You can do that in any synth with noise and env//mseg/lfo...

Maybe i should package those "drums" into a cool quick prototyped plastic case, sell it as "analogue hardware" and make comparison video with this very same synth on youtube lol.  I bet i get people raving about how my drum machine sounds more authentic than my "software" demo T-T

Introll price 925 E

So there you have it, selling your partner just to afford that ultimate pristine TR808/909? Well no more! Yeah!

Bonus (snare tail): change the MSEG, alter the mood, reverbify the boys and girls if you'd be so kind!

TLDR: Your 808 is a lie. jk, but in case you want to try and synthesize your own drums; it's easier than you think.

Did some grave digging in my old dusty computer. Found that cartoon i drew back in 2003, and plenty of random pictures and music tracks.  Good times, fruityloops 3.56 "newbiness" ^^
I had imagined the whole parody with every bosses, but never went past those 2 sheets. I guess you'd enjoy Vulcan Ramen, Revolver oldsl*t, and Mister Malheur... Maybe someday!

If you (really) need le subtitle........google them.

Have a nice year 2017.
Since some people asked me (thanks by the way): Yes, I want to be putting some music in here again this year, and i still listen and vote on tracks.
Lets just say 2016 was not the right year for me to compose anything good.

I used my recent birthday as an excuse to buy this epic fartissimo generator.
Welcome to the computer band.

Thanks @soundchris for the recommendation.

By mistake, I assigned cc11 and transpose to the same controller :

No buyer's remorse on this one^^
